not_yaoi(Hmm, this was stuck in saved when I came in to goatproof this. It's probably actually a sages post or was used elsewhere, but stuck it here too to save it just in case while I rework timelines)
Those with weak stomachs may want to look elsewhere. Slash is on his belly in the nexus, sans armor, picking at a mangled shape that might have once been a rabbit. He pulls off little strips of fresh raw meat from the carcass to feed to the one-and-a-half-week old bronze fire lizard hatchling next to him. Occasionally, when his fingers get too messy, he licks them off. He's managed to get a smear of blood on one cheek doing so, and really doesn't seem to notice or care.
"Names important?" he asks. "Others say little lizard needs name. Not sure it matters. Not good at names. Know little one without name. But others say need name, to have something to call little one."
"Good names?"
